Best Care for Kids

In this project the participants will collaborate in our summer holiday activity programme for children aged 4 to 11.
The programme includes a variety of activities, that include artistic education, workshops in real-life areas, field trips, swimming-pool, sports, traditional games, personal and social skills development activities, activities to promote citizenship and participation, like interviews in the community and other projects.
The participation of the two volunteers aims at enriching the programme with a European dimension. They are expect to be able to organise weekly introduction to language and culture workshops for the children, as well as an intergenerational workshop every fortnight of the project (4 in total).
The programme takes place Monday to Friday during all summer in the institution and in the premises of other local partners, particularly the sports and cultural activities.
