YOUTH ON a Good Way

Project proposal that will be submitted by National Youth Council of Republika Srpska in cooperation with National Youth Council of Serbia and its partner organisation from Western Balkans and European Union. Project will be submitted on January 2019 deadline within KA2: Capacity building in the field of youth, Western Balkans youth window of Erasmus + programme of European Commission.
Project aims to enhance reconciliation process in the region and prevent youth radicalization across Europe. Objectives of the project are to:
- Exchange experience and build capacities of National Youth Councils and other involved organisations regarding reconciliation among young people;
- Educate 30 trainers and peer educators for reconciliation that would run local workshops;
- Develop youth policies on national and European level regarding reconciliation, dealing with a past and prevention of radicalization;
- Develop cooperation opportunities and partnership that will contribute to youth radicalization in the region in long term perspective.

Project will include capacity building and mobility activities that will be hosted in different countries of involved partner organisations.
YOUTH ON Start – is kick-off meeting that will be hosted on the beginning of the project and will include representatives of partner organisations with aim to prepare them for implementation of the project and present it to public.
YOUTH ON Seminar –will be hosted in Krzyzowa, Poland and will be used to exchange experiences, examples of good practice, methods and other information from EU (namely in German-French and German-Polish youth process) relevant for reconciliation among young people in the Western Balkans.
YOUTH ON Focus – will be Europe wide research that will be done regarding radicalization, reconciliation, nationalism and European values.
YOUTH ON Policy – is seminar that will involve National Youth Councils, youth policy decision makers and other relevant stakeholders in order to present, analyze, compare and create recommendations for youth policy development on national and European level with focus on reconciliation, dealing with a past and prevention of youth radicalizations.
YOUTH ON TOT 1 – is training for trainers from partner organisations regarding youth reconciliation after which participants will implement local activities in all involved partner organisations.
YOUTH ON a Good Way 1 – is set of local workshops run by new trainers and peer educators that were involved in previous mobility activity. Workshops will be organized in all involved countries according to local realities and need of local youth.
YOUTH ON TOT 2 – is ToT that will he hosted after testing of methods and tools in local contexts with aim to develop new tools, project ideas and cooperation opportunities.
YOUTH ON a Good Way 2 – is serious of national and European campaign and initiative that will be developed with local youth with aim to promote reconciliation, prevention of radicalization and European values.
YOUTH ON Caravan – is 15 days long youth exchange that will be hosted in Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants will visit places in the region relevant for reconciliation, discuss relevant topics and run local workshops and for local youth.
YOUTH ON Conference – if final conference on which results of the project and policy recommendations will be presented to decision makers and public and youth reconciliation in the region discussed by high ranked politicians and youth representatives. It will also be evaluation meeting for the project.
